ABSTRACT
The conventional DFT-based channel estimation method can improve the performance of least square (LS) or minimum mean error (MMSE) by removing noise outside maximum delay while inside still remain. Here, a novel pilot-aided for filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC-OQAM) is proposed. Using clustering and discriminant analysis, this separate automatically from impulse response (CIR) coefficient estimation. Theoretical analysis simulation results show that accuracy be improved remarkably. Compared threshold, proposed has better bit ratio (BER) in additive white Gaussian (AWGN) flat fading channel.
