ABSTRACT
Abstract The utilisation of continuous random waveforms for radar, that is, noise has been extensively studied as a candidate low probability intercept operation. However, compared with the more traditional pulse‐Doppler radar systems are significantly complicated to implement, which is likely why few exist. If see light day, system design, implementation, limitations etc., must be investigated. Therefore, authors examine and detail implementation real‐time on field programmable gate array. capable operating 100% duty cycle, 200 MHz bandwidth, 268 ms integration time while processing range about 8.5 km. Additionally, can perform moving target compensation reduce cell migration. System performance primarily limited by memory bandwidth off‐chip dynamic access memory.
