ABSTRACT
Fifteen finger tip amputations through the proximal half of nail bed were reconstructed with palmar V-Y advancement flaps and full thickness grafts. The undersurface flap was sutured to remnant raw area covered grafts from amputated part. They followed for a minimum period one year took fully in all patients. results best thumb least favourable little but patients happy cosmetic result functional outcome. This technique an average gain 5 mm extra length nail. is useful when replantation distal fingertip amputation not possible.
