ABSTRACT
1: ESGE recommends a prolonged course of prophylactic broad-spectrum antibiotic in patients with ascites who are undergoing therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures.Strong recommendation, low quality evidence. 2: placement partially or fully covered self-expandable metal stents during EUS-guided hepaticogastrostomy for biliary drainage malignant disease.Strong moderate 3: pancreatic duct (PD) should only be performed high volume expert centers, owing to the complexity this technique and risk adverse events.Strong 4: stepwise approach PD favorable anatomy, starting rendezvous-assisted retrograde pancreatography (RV-ERP), followed by antegrade transmural when RV-ERP fails is not feasible.Strong 5: suggests performing transduodenal gallbladder lumen-apposing stent (LAMS), rather than using transgastric route, as may reduce dysfunction.Weak 6: saline instillation small-bowel distension gastroenterostomy.Strong 7: use 19G needle an electrocautery-enhanced LAMS EUS-directed cholangiopancreatography (EDGE) 8: either 15- 20-mm LAMSs EDGE, preference considering same-session ERCP.Strong
