Readability of Patient Education Texts Presented on the Internet Related to Vaccines

ABSTRACT
Objective This study aimed to compare the readability and contents of patient information texts regarding vaccination on Turkish Internet sites. Material Methods Websites were searched in Google search engine using keywords “what is vaccination?” “benefits vaccination,” “harms “side effects vaccination” May 2018. Readability was determined Ateşman Bezirci–Yilmaz formulas. According formula, higher a text, easier it can be read. “health-care professional” websites compared with that “non–health-care websites.
