Abstract Background Morganella morganii is a gram-negative bacterium that rarely infects the central nervous system (CNS). Few reports described such an infection in CNS. We present case of extremely invasive M. He had history diabetes mellitus, hypertension, brain tumor, epilepsy. Multiple left frontal scalp ulcers were revealed. computed tomography (CT) scan magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed side epidural abscess subdural empyema. Moreover, patient bone osteomyelitis. The next day, underwent craniectomy, transferred intensive care unit started empirical antibiotic course. identified from infected ulcers. On 13th passed away uncontrolled status epilepticus. Conclusion can cause isolated or multiple types CNS infections, including abscess, meningitis, mortality rate may differ according age use surgical evacuation.
