ABSTRACT
Introduction: Unplanned readmission to the hospital following neurosurgical procedures is costly and burdensome patients physicians an important quality metric. Examining unplanned readmissions allows centers gauge progress, identify areas for improvement, develop high impact clinical pathways. Patients with Cushing's disease (CD) experience greater comorbidities more complicated perioperative courses than other pituitary surgery patients, but no studies have focused on in this challenging patient population. Furthermore, rarity of CD requires multicenter collaboration examine measures disseminate best practices.
