ABSTRACT
Objective: The sitting position has historically offered neurosurgeons important advantages including improved venous drainage and clearing of blood from the operative field due to gravity, a reduced need for cerebral or cerebellar retraction, especially surgical treatment posterior fossa pathologies. Nonetheless, operating in widely fallen out favor perceived risk positioning-related complications, namely, air embolism (VAE). objective this study was describe incidence predictors complications related performing craniotomies contemporary series patients undergoing surgery skull base cerebrovascular lesions.
