ABSTRACT
Over the last 9 years, authors analyzed lymphedema of lower extremity in a total 25 patients, comparing use supermicrosurgical lymphaticovenular anastomosis and/or conservative treatment. The most common cause edema was hysterectomy, with or without subsequent radiation therapy for uterine cancer. Among 12 cases that underwent only treatment, one case showed decrease over 4 cm circumference leg. average period treatment 1.5 and decreased 0.6 (8 percent preoperative excess). Thirteen patients were followed after anastomoses, as well pre- postoperative follow-up surgery 3.3 eight reduction circumference, excluding bilateral leg, 4.7 (55.6 These results indicate has valuable place lymphedema.
