ABSTRACT
The stages of change construct the Transtheoretical Model (TTM) has been proposed for examining exercise adoption. Studies investigating validity have used physical activity moderate or higher intensity as operationalization criterion. Since it shown that lower also provides health benefits, we investigated whether appropriately address activity. Data with respect to well behavior, intention and self-efficacy associated mild, moderate, strenuous were collected in a sample 467 males females aged 20 - 85. Results show can be distinguished by but are not consistent mild exercise. Implications future research utilizing stage conceptualization discussed development new assessment instruments is recommended.
