ABSTRACT
The SF-36 Health Survey and its 12-item abridged form is an instrument for the assessment of health related quality life that can be used with healthy persons patient populations. Its use has been recommended within a large German multicentre rehabilitation research programme. paper examines missing data across all five study projects North Network Rehabilitation Research (NVRF) as well psychometric properties instrument. In addition, were compared to representative norm using (SF-12) in National Survey. Results showed there few SF-36. Examining impact age, gender status yielded effects higher age female on data. Psychometric analyses good excellent results terms scale fit reliability. convergent validity, medium high correlation subscales comparable instruments (e. g. SCL-90-R) could found. Summarizing, SF-36/SF-12 research. Analyses regarding sensitivity should conducted future studies.
