ABSTRACT
Background and Study Aims: One of the major complications endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) for gastrointestinal tumors is perforation, most effective way preventing perforation to elevate lesion sufficiently by injection fluid into submucosa. Materials Methods: In order compare lesion-lifting properties several different solutions, 1 ml each following solutions was injected submucosa resected porcine stomach: normal saline, 3.75 % NaCl, 20 dextrose water, 10 glycerin with 0.9 NaCl plus 5 fructose, two sodium hyaluronate (SH) solutions.
