A squamous cell carcinoma originated from intracranial dermoid cyst

ABSTRACT
A 59-year-old female had been treated for epilepsy over 20 years. She frequent convulsive seizures in spite of medication and was admitted to our hospital status epilepticus. CT showed low density cyst with calcified wall at right suprasellar region irregular ring enhancement the frontal lobe which continuous cyst. Angiography revealed tumor stain venous phase. The mass removed evacuation Pathological findings were suggestive squamous cell carcinoma arising from epithelial component pre-existing dermoid patient died six months after operation severe hyperglycemia, ketoacidosis hypotension probably due chemical meningitis hydrocephalus.
