ABSTRACT
Parking difficulty in urban cities, especially commercial areas, has attracted wide attention. With the help of remote parking automated vehicles (AVs), people do not waste time cruising for parking, and utilization distant facilities becomes possible. This study presents a bi-level model to determine optimal planning under coexistence AVs human-driving (HVs), where locations capacities lots is obtained upper lower-level models traffic assignments. Simulated annealing (SA) adopted level large-scale problems. Numerical experiments are conducted different penetration rates construction budgets. It indicated that total commuting costs can be reduced by 37% without increasing cost when there 50% AVs. Meanwhile, increase caused inadequate budgets well controlled use
