Effects of ion streaming and propagation direction on ion-acoustic solitary waves

ABSTRACT
It is found that ion streaming and the direction of propagation of the nonlinear structure are the factors which can determine the amplitude of the density hump in fully nonlinear ion-acoustic solitary waves.
