ABSTRACT
The authors report the room temperature gas sensitivity of ultrathin SnO2 films prepared by thermal decomposition multilayer Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films. films, which are characterized various spectroscopic techniques and electrical measurements, have been shown to sense ammonia at with fast response recovery. presence a large number surface states in film is responsible for sensitivity. Present results demonstrate potential LB technique fabricate high quality oxide useful sensor applications.
