ABSTRACT
It is found that the low frequency oscillations have modulating action on high instabilities in Hall thrusters. The physical mechanism of this modulation discussed and verified by numerical simulations. Theoretical analyses indicate wide-range fluctuations plasma density electric field associated with affect electron drift velocity anomalous transport across magnetic field. amplitude are modulated oscillations, which show periodic variation time scale oscillations.
