ABSTRACT
A microwave oscillator topology based on CRLH (Composite Right-/Left-Handed) unit cells is analyzed theoretically and experimentally tested. The consists of a distributed amplifier positive feedback realized by simple transmission line. has two output ports, where the power levels are practically same. For this topology, we have found oscillation condition demonstrate that each transistor gives same contribution to delivered at in way, maximized. been designed for frequency 2.8 GHz fabricated hybrid technology, using InGaAs HEMTs microstrip lines. measured powers ports equal 12.6 dBm 10.4 dBm, small difference between these values being given insertion loss gate experimental 2.77 GHz, with less than 1% comparison expected value. Due selectivity cells, numerical simulations predict low phase noise configuration oscillator.
