ABSTRACT
An experimental setup is developed to create a protective and decorative coating on the surface of building materials. Experimental study conducted using low-temperature plasma. The properties before after plasma treatment are investigated. At increase generator power (56-75 kW) rate vitreous formation significantly reduced, destruction hydrous calcium silicates occurs at lower depth (0.5-2.0 mm). In this case, adhesive strength increases up 2.34 MPa. exposure time 56 kW (0.045 m/s melting rate) generation power, melt observed not only but 0.7 mm deeper. Also, deep degradation material decreases. optimal heat flux density was established 1.8-2.6 · 106 W/m2, which allows achievement uniform layer wood that preserves its natural pattern visible.
