ABSTRACT
Laser driven proton acceleration is proposed to be greatly enhanced by using a cone-tube target, which can easily manufactured current 3D-print technology. It observed that energetic electron bunches are generated along the tube and accelerated much higher temperature combination of ponderomotive force longitudinal electric field induced optical confinement laser field. As result, localized sheath produced at rear target maximum energy about three-fold increased based on two-dimentional particle-in-cell simulation results. demonstrated employing this advanced scheme, scaling versus intensity beyond normal (TNSA) case.
