ABSTRACT
Ultrathin Pt/Co/Pt trilayers with initial in-plane magnetization were irradiated femtosecond laser pulses. In this way, an irreversible structural modification was introduced, which resulted in the creation of numerous pulse fluence-dependent magnetic phases. This particularly true out-of-plane state, exhibited a submicrometer domain structure. effect studied broad range fluences up to point ablation metallic films. addition single-pulse experiment, multiple exposure spots also investigated, extended area phases and decreased damage threshold. Using double partially overlapped spots, two-dimensional diagram as function two energy densities built, showed strong inequality between first second incoming
