ABSTRACT
Although the formation and propagation of plasma plume for atmospheric pressure plasmas have been intensively studied, how does terminate is still little known. In this letter, helium plumes are generated in a long quartz tube by pulsed voltages constant gas flow. The variable pulse width (PW) from 0.5 μs to 200 μs. It found that terminates right after falling edge each voltage when PW < 20 μs, whereas it before edge. When larger than 30 duration starts decrease, termination occur at current zero moment discharge through high-voltage electrode, which much different ground electrode.
