ABSTRACT
Mamuju is one focus area of radioactive mineral exploration in Indonesia. For almost a decade, geology, geochemistry, and geophysical activities were conducted the area. To estimate uranium thorium undiscovered resources area, quantitative 3-part assessment applied. The form assumes that resources, contained deposits particular geological type, can be quantified using statistical distributions characterize grades, tonnages, spatial distribution known same type. assessments include three stages: (1) determination models grades tonnages deposits, (2) delineation permissive tracts, (3) estimation likely number finally total metal endowment. This paper focused on tracts from regional to local geology point view. Permissive represent extended frontiers terrains for which geologic environments permit deposit type form. Based analysis, volcanogenic represents model while alkaline thorium. From analysis data, tract delineated further resource assessment. Compared previous delineation, method integrating statistically processed radiometric geochemical as well map was better more effective delineating
