ABSTRACT
The continuous deterioration and development of tip leakage vortex (TLV) cavitation in the pump-jet propulsion significantly affect performance operational stability. Larger eddy simulation tunnel experiment are utilized to investigate temporal spatial evolution characteristics TLV under varying conditions. results reveal that prompts gradually move away from blade suction surface due increasing pressure difference at surface. Furthermore, amplifies effect radial outward Coriolis force makes even more unstable. Under influence flow, primary generation turbulent kinetic energy (TKE) persistently migrates core center subsequently travels downstream. Despite large magnitude TKE occurs center, remains low. With inception cavitation, transport between surrounding flow intensifies, followed by a subsequent weakening this effect. It increases again as breakdown becomes severe.
