ABSTRACT
Leaves can be used to assess the health of a plant. The chlorophyll content and nitrogen status plants might plant health. Chlorophyll leaves is measurable in laboratory using dimethyl sulfoxide or Kjeldahl technique. These destructive investigations tissues accurately evaluates concentration status. However, this procedure costly time-consuming. Using SPAD instrument, non-destructive measurements were performed. price instrument high. This research intends develop technique for detecting smartphone's built-in camera. approach an advancement ground-based remote sensing technology. object maize. An RGB camera on mobile phone was gather data greenness level leaf. Concurrently, value measured determine content. In study, there three primary phases, capturing leaf images with geotags, image processing, vegetation index (VIs) analysis. demonstrated that has potential as tool measuring depending greenness. Additionally, GPS function each provides distribution field.
