ABSTRACT
Indonesia is one of the largest consumer countries food made from soybeans in world. However, so far, soybean production still low, an innovation needed to produce high production. One effort which can be conducted prepares superior seed through genetic engineering. The purpose this research analyze gene action based on F2 leaves morphological characteristics (Glycine max L. Merill). study used a randomized block design (RBD) three times with data analysis using SPSS version 20 application. subjects were agromulyo x UM 7.6 their respective parents, namely and UM.7.6. In study, normality test was carried out skewness kurtosis test. Data by calculating average each character variety. results are normally distributed (<0.5) leaf characters (leaf length, width, petiol length additive duplicative epistasis. means that quantitative (influenced many genes). Estimates heritability for width moderate criteria genetics environment), petiole has genetics). This produced large resistant viruses.
