ABSTRACT
Asymmetric layout gate station projects are prevalent in engineering. When multiple pump units operate within such projects, the inflow patterns of devices at different stations exhibit significant variations. Notably, edge often display adverse operating characteristics, including vibration. This study aims to elucidate hydraulic behavior asymmetric using numerical simulation methods. We validate reliability our calculations through physical model tests. Specifically, we investigate flow pressure pulsation characteristics axial device unit under various switching schemes employed project. The results show that fluctuations distinct time-frequency based on rates. An increase rate a sharp rise fluctuation amplitudes unit. During symmetric operation, peak significantly smaller than those observed during operation. suggests operates more stably and experiences fewer conditions. Optimizing operation ensures stability prolongs service life projects.
