ABSTRACT
The dissemination of positron-acoustic (PA) nonlinear structures, including the solitary waves (SWs) and cnoidal (CWs), is analyzed in an unmagnetized electron–positron–ion (e–p–i) plasma having inertial cold positrons inertialess Cairns distributed electrons Maxwellian as well immobile positive ions. reductive perturbation method (RPM) introduced to reduce fluid equations this model Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) type equation for studying small amplitude PA (PAWs). Moreover, Kawahara (sometimes called fifth-order KdV) also obtained investigate characteristics large PAWs. effects related parameters, such nonthermal hot positron concentration, electron temperature ratios, are numerically examined on features SWs CWs.
