ABSTRACT
In this paper, an asymmetrical multi-layer flux barriers permanent magnet (AMFB-PM) motor is proposed. The key of study to design the d-q-axis magnetic field reasonably. Firstly, influence d-axis inductance on constant power speed range analyzed. To optimize regulation performance, asymmetric barrier employed adjust saturation degree circuit under flux-weakening state. Additionally, introduction enables directional deflection reluctance torque, thereby enhancing output torque. analysis results verify effectiveness design, which provide a wide with operation and high torque density for PM motors.
