ABSTRACT
The crystal structure of the 1 : adduct N-methylaniline with 5-nitrofuran-2-carboxylic acid has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/c Z 4 in a cell dimensions 8·467(5), b 6·106(2), c 23·95(1) Å, β 94·48(3)°. molecules associate tetrameric, proton-transfer formation which potential as new supramolecular synthon.
