ABSTRACT
Photoelectrodes containing cadmium sulfide deposited as powders and crystalline thin layers combined with semi-solid ionic liquid electrolyte behave like Schottky photodiodes. Appropriate connection of these devices results in simple optoelectronic logic gates (AND, XOR) enables construction an binary half-adder.
