ABSTRACT
The non-enzymatic voltammetric and amperometric detection of glucose using a palladium coated nanoporous gold film electrode is described. effect surfactant on the fabrication was also investigated. performed by cyclic voltammetry. sensor had good electrocatalytic activity towards oxidation glucose, exhibited rapid response (~6 s), gave linear range from 1 to 33 mM with limit 5 μM (with signal noise ratio 3). wide dynamic range, long-term stability, high sensitivity selectivity, reproducibility, resistance fouling resulted in an ideal inexpensive biosensor applicable for complex matrices.
