ABSTRACT
The Q gene encodes an AP2 -like transcription factor that played important role in domestication of polyploid wheat. chromosome 5A alleles ( 5AQ and 5Aq ) have been well studied, but much less is known about the q on wheat homoeologous chromosomes 5B 5Bq 5D 5Dq ). We investigated organization, evolution, function Q/q homoeoalleles hexaploid Triticum aestivum L.). sequences are highly conserved within among A, B, D genomes wheat, A B tetraploid S, diploid progenitors, intergenic regions locus divergent genomes.
