ABSTRACT
Significance Climate change and air pollution caused by fossil-energy-related CO 2 NO x emissions is a capstone societal issue. A critical barrier to an international treaty aimed toward controlling the inability verify inventories reduction of claimed individual nations following implementation new technologies. We demonstrate for first time, our knowledge, that simultaneous remote observations , regional column enhancements can be made with high fidelity frequency. These then used identify from power plants distinguish them other sources.
