ABSTRACT
Significance Human lymphomas and leukemias are characterized by molecular structural alterations of transcription factors (TFs). The identification such deregulated TFs is therefore central to the understanding lymphomagenesis. We addressed this question in classical Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), a common B-cell–derived malignancy that one most prominent examples for complex patterns including activation NF-κB or AP-1 profound deregulation lineage-specific TFs. found IRF5 together with induces number HL characteristic features non-Hodgkin cells, as expression cytokines chemokines activation. Our work exemplifies how global type-specific characterization TF activities can improve tumor biology.
