ABSTRACT
Significance Genomic prediction is a new field of quantitative genetics. Individual performance can be predicted using genome-wide markers before the phenotype measured. for hybrid even more promising because genotype predetermined by parents. We propose genomic best linear unbiased to predict rice, and incorporate dominance epistasis into model. Simulation studies showed that predictability further improved after incorporating The strategy marker-guided called breeding, it represents technology may potentially revolutionize breeding in agriculture.
