ABSTRACT
Müllerian ducts are paired tubular structures that give rise to most of the female reproductive organs. Any abnormalities in development and differentiation these lead anatomical defects tract organs categorized as duct anomalies. Due limited access fetal tissues, little is understood human associated Although organoids represent a powerful model decipher disease, such from not available. Here, we developed fallopian tubes uteri compared them with their adult counterparts. Our results demonstrate epithelia do express some typical markers epithelia. Furthermore, grossly, histologically, proteomically different organoids. While external supplementation WNT ligands or activators culture medium an absolute requirement for organoids, able grow WNT-deficient conditions. We also decellularized tissue scaffolds uteri. Transplantation onto led regeneration tube uterine Importantly, suppression Wnt signaling, which altered patients anomalies, inhibits regenerative ability causes severe mouse tract. Thus, our important platform study underlying basis diseases.
