ABSTRACT
Complete suppression of expression immunoglobulin kappa light chain was achieved by injecting female mice from birth with a mixture antisera against the mu heavy and (anti-mu anti-kappa). Then their offspring were injected anti-kappa birth. This resulted in stable as long injections continued. not detectable either serum or at cellular level. The number B cells spleen concentration classes subclasses normal. normal levels compensating enhancement lambda expression. Analysis chains immunoglobulins secreted suppressed after liposaccharide stimulation two-dimensional gels showed to have limited heterogeneity. Primary responses dinitrophenol, influenza strain A, keyhole limpet hemocyanin drastically affected, whereas secondary appeared be quite normal, suggesting surprisingly large potential repertoire.
