ABSTRACT
Members of the poorly investigated family Teloschistaceae in South America, mostly from Bolivia and Peru, were examined using molecular morphological data here for first time. In recent phylogenetic reclassifications Teloschistaceae, American representatives represented but shown to belong subfamilies Teloschistoideae Xanthorioideae. this study, we expanded sampling taxa mainly lobate, sublobate, squamulose members Caloplaca s.l., characters a phylogeny based on combined three-locus set (one mitochondrial two nuclear loci). Building upon new phylogenies at subfamily levels (Teloschistoideae), propose three genera: Andina, Aridoplaca, Cinnabaria, with type species Andina citrinoides, Aridoplaca peltata, Cinnabaria boliviana. We also reduce Tarasginia synonymy Sirenophila Tayloriellina Villophora introduce combinations: Dufourea ottolangei, D. volkmarwirthii, erythrosticta. Scutaria andina is reported as Bolivia. A critical revision Brownlielloideae confirmed findings that it an artifactual taxon "chimeric" set, genus being part Teloschistoideae.
