ABSTRACT
Recently, there has been an important drive to increase diversity in medical education, which could potentially translate improved outcomes for patients. Despite this, evidence on how support neurodiverse doctors is limited. In this article the author reflects their experience of postgraduate education as a doctor with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and considers learning environment can be help reach potential. This includes increasing senior role models, using cognitive apprenticeship model, employing teaching strategies allow learners elaborate individual thought processes, providing appropriate timely feedback.
