ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of fear childbirth and affecting factors in pregnant women Turkey.This a cross-sectional included total 2025. Pregnant Women Assessment, some variables related previous current perinatal processes Wijma Delivery Expectancy/Experience Questionnaire (version A) were used for data collection.In this sample, 42.4% reported childbirth. What afraid most development unwanted conditions at childbirth, obscurity/uncertainty, negative attitudes health professionals. The causing low education level, unemployment status, financial stillbirth, unplanned pregnancy, indecisiveness about type delivery, not attending prenatal programs, effects other people, insufficient social support, confiding healthcare centre professional, negative, indecisive birth perceptions, prior experiences feeling ready (p < 0.001).The Turkish especially multipara is higher than Western countries. Causes can vary with countries even each region country.
