ABSTRACT
Primary objective: To examine the relationship between self-awareness, goal setting ability (i.e. to set realistic goals) and performance/outcome in a cognitive task for rehabilitation.Research design: Regression analyses were conducted compare predictive power of self-awareness demographic/neuropsychological variables on performance/outcome.Methods procedures: Self-awareness 63 patients with brain injuries was measured by direct clinicians' rating difference patient staff ratings questionnaire. Results: The awareness measures predicted 32% variance rehabilitation context but only 4% task. Similarly, 33% outcome 5% performance task. Conclusions: seems be related long-term process less short-term experimental tasks.
