ABSTRACT
Highly accurate bending force presetting is a prerequisite to ensure the well flatness of strip head, however, there are limitations in preset model used industrial sites. According control characteristics work roll and intermediate forces, this paper integrates historical production data 1420 mm 6-high tandem cold rolling mill establishes chain based on symbolic regression, which implements with age-layered population structure genetic programming (ALPS-GPSR). The advantage regression models ability obtain explicit mathematical expressions, very important complex environments. With application ALPS-GPSR site, hit rate within 6IU head for three specifications has increased by 2.86%, 1.61%, 2.19% respectively average, achieving satisfactory result.
