ABSTRACT
This study aimed to investigate the correlation between ultrafiltration rate (UFR) and hemoglobin levels erythropoietin (EPO) response in patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). 225 MHD were divided into three groups according UFR: < 10 ml/h/kg, 10–13 >13 ml/h/kg. Clinical parameters prognosis compared among groups. Multiple linear regression analyses conducted. SPSS 26.0 (IBM, Chicago, IL, USA) was used analyze all statistics. The UFR ml/h/kg group older than other (p 0.05). > 13 had highest SpKt/V 0.05), monthly EPO dose/weight 0.001), resistance index as well lowest dry weight BMI hematocrit red blood cell count analysis showed that sex, weight, UFR, calcium, phosphorus, albumin, C-reactive protein associated with levels. Multivariate logistic revealed a higher lower levels, while male sex of calcium albumin High is more severe anemia MHD. provides new insights management undergoing hemodialysis.
