ABSTRACT
In recent decades, attention to the role of actors in regional development has shifted from 'formal and collective' individuals change agency. doing so, mobilize their capacity act, which comprises total volume resources accumulated over course life. However, there is a lack studies focusing on how such then mobilized for Therefore, this study seeks reveal patterns selected agents have used agency implemented specific spatio-temporal setting an old industrial region. Based results 64 semi-structured interviews conducted with local informants four towns Czechia, we identified five basic types are combined during implementation – agencies driven by embodied cultural capital, bonding social economic support public institutions those accelerated symbolic capital.
