ABSTRACT
The crosslinked polymer acid solution relies on a crosslinking agent to form high-viscosity gel under the condition of weak hydrochloric concentration (pH value about 2–4), and it is difficult at high concentration. In this work, calcium chloride was investigated as promoter enhance thickening rheological ability self-thickening agent, temperature concentrations hydrogen chloride. results demonstrated that 10 wt.% can greatly increase viscosity in range (15–10wt.% chloride), which conducive early diversion better realizes deep acidification low permeability formation. Thus, study provides novel perspective for developing new self-diverting agents.
