ABSTRACT
The current research was conducted to investigate and compare the role of functional foods such as probiotics prebiotics alone or in combinations on markers liver damage, oxidative stress inflammatory nonalcoholic fatty disease (NAFLD) induced rats. According results, G3, G4 G6 gained significant weight at end study. Moreover, weights different organs (liver, Spleen kidney) revealed that G1 (control negative) fed a standard diet lowest weight, G2 positive) high fat (HFD) maximum (9.63 ± 0.46 g). In addition, symbiotic group (G8) lowered organ (6.77 0.20 g), indicating HFD deposition body other organs. Furthermore, results serum function were concerned, Maximum reduction Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) found among G8 (Probiotics, GOS Inulin) (GOS). Aspartate (AST) significantly reduced all treatments compared control positive. Alkaline phosphate (ALP) G5, G7. Gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) remained unaffected during trial. As far tumor necrotic factor (TNF) groups had levels TNF after 19 weeks Upon therapy, strong association with hepatic inflammation various degrees portal (Chi-square value = 49.04**; P-value 0.000; ** Highly (P < .01). Overall histopathological analysis vacuoles treatment hepatocytes. progression fibrosis also groups. Conclusively, biomarkers NAFLD
