ABSTRACT
We compared intention to receive the seasonal influenza vaccine with a prospective coronavirus (COVID-19) among undecided or COVID-19 hesitant individuals better understand underlying differences and similarities in factors associated intention. delivered cross-sectional online survey October–November 2020. included psychological constructs sociodemographic variables informed by theory. conducted pairwise comparisons multiple linear regression models explore associations between constructs. recruited 1,660 participants, where 47.6% responded that they would likely vaccine, 31.0% probably not accept vaccination 21.4% were unsure. In relation 39.0% vaccination, 23.7% 37.3% Unique positively were: perceived knowledge sufficiency about safety, beliefs living an area of low deprivation. The only unique factor was past behavior. strongest common predictors favorable attitudes, anticipated regret may feel following infection if expectation from family friends vaccine.
