Allard, France Baron, E. We discuss the physical effects that are important for formation early spectra novae. atmospheres optically thick, fast expanding shells with flat density profiles, leading to geometrically very extended atmospheres. show properties nova can be understood in terms this basic model and some influence structure emitted spectrum atmospheres, e.g., line blanketing, non-LTE effects, velocity field. proper modeling is discussed, we give computational details.
