A. ; Yaqoob, T. Holt, S. Mushotzky, R. F. Matsuoka, M. Yamauchi, We present new X-ray spectral data for the well-studied Seyfert galaxy 4151, which was observed twice about 20 ks each during performance verification phase, once on 1993 May 25 and again November 5. The source underwent complex variability, 2-10 keV flux increased by a factor 2 while intrinsic 2- 10 no more than 20%. can be modeled either dual cold absorber plus soft excess consisting scattered continuum an additional "ultrasoft" component, or warm flux. There is evidence variability at < 1 energies that unrelated to continuum. For ionized-absorber description changes in ionization state appear ionizing Publication: Astrophysical Journal Pub Date: 1994 DOI: 10.1086/187625 Bibcode: 1994ApJ...436L..27W Keywords: Galactic Nuclei; Galaxies; X Ray Astronomy; Spectra; Light Curve; Stellar Models; Telescopes; Astrophysics; GALAXIES: INDIVIDUAL NUMBER: 4151; NUCLEI; SEYFERT full text sources ADS | products SIMBAD (1) NED HEASARC
